PROPOSED AMENDMENTS. A RESOLUTION OF PROTEST. (Preen Association—By Telegraph—Copyright j LONDON, January 25. The Protestant Alliance and the League of Loyal Churchmen passed a resolution stating that the amended Pray Book was essentially the same as before. It restored the mass and enabled adoration of the elements and the reserved sacrament. The resolution appealed to Parliament to reject the measure, and to pass a Bill compelling the bishops to do their duty or resign.— A. and N.Z. and Sydney Sun Cable.
