THEFT OF MOTOR CAR
TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED. MAN FLOURISHES A REVOLVER. (Pros* Association —By Telegraph Copyright- ) LONDON, January 25. (Received Jan. 26, at 9 p.m.) The police at Liverpool detained a man and woman in connection with the alleged theft of a motor car in London on January 21. Twenty detectives surrounded the hotel where the suspects were staying. The man, when confronted, allegedly whipped out a fully-loaded five-chambered revolver, but a detective struck the weapon out of his hand just as the trigger was pulled, and the cartridge misfired.
