Stud Foley’s current revue, “ Maid of the South,” is proving a popular attraction at the Princess Theatre this week. It is a thoroughly entertaining production, brimful of all those special qualities that have made the company what it is—one of the most popular on the circuit. The comedy work is left mainly in the hands of Stud Foley, Nat Gould, and Little Iris, while the singing is entrusted to jLrulla Fanning, Winnie Edgerton, Eric Masters, William Beresford, and one or two others. Other commendable features of the programme are the dancing by Eddie and Decima M‘Lean, and the ballets by the chorus. SIR BENJAMIN FULLER. Sir Benjamin Fuller, who is at present visiting Dunedin, will take the opportunity of briefly addressing patrons at the Princess Theatre during the interval in tonight’s performance. It is a good many years since Sir Benjamin first appeared before the footlights in Dunedin, the entertainment then being held in the old Garrison Hall, now the Post Office.
