WAIRARAPA TOURNAMENT. (Pbb United Press Association.) MASTERTON, January 25, The 'Wairarapa Lawn Tennis Association’s annual championship and handicap tournament was concluded to-day after four days’ play in glorious weather. The final of the men’s singles will be contested by O. P. Welch (Masterton) and F. W. Martin (Masterton). The other championship results are as follows; MEN’S DOUBLES. J. C. Charters (Whangarei) and P. B. Welch (Masterton) beat E. B. Wellwood and F. AY. Martin (Masterton), 3—5, 6—4, 6—2. LADIES’ SINGLES. Mrs AV. J. Melody (Wellington) beat Mrs R. H. M’Master (Martinborough), 6—o, 2—6, 11—9. LADIES’ DOUBLES. Mrs W. J. Melody and Miss V. Short (Wellington) beat Misses S. and M. Preedy (Wellington), 6—l, 6 —o. BOYS’ SINGLES. K. Dyer (Masterton) beat C. I. Bunny (Greytown), 4—6, 6 —3, 6—o. GIRLS’ SINGLES. Isobel Brunton (Greytown) beat Alison Pragnell (Masterton), 3 —6, 6 —l, 6 —2.
