INVENTION TO ENSURE SECRECY. TAKEN OVER BY ITALY. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copy right.) ROME, January 24. In the interests of national defence the Government has taken o' or the invention of Signor Marico Compare, ensuring'the secrecy of wireless communications. The invention is believed to be based chiefly on a system of telegraphy and radio-telegraphy, combined with a special typewriter. The invention is also based on the possibility of direct Hertzian waves, cvidentl;; some form of the beam system.—Sydney Sun Cable.
