The Canadian Prospector sailed yesterday morning for Wellington, Napier and Auckland to complete loading for New York, Boston and Halifax.

The Gale has been fixed to load at Dunedin on February 2 for Timaru, Lyttelton, AVellington and Wanganui. The Calm, wmch arrived here at noon yesterday from Wanganui, via ports, is to sail this evening for Timaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui.

The Opihi left Westport at 1 a.tn. yesterday for Dunedin with a cargo- of coal. She is due to-morrow afternoon, and will load general merchandise early next week for Timaru and Westport. The Corinna is due at Dunedin on Saturday morning from Wellington to load general cargo. She Is to sail on Saturday evening for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth, via ports. The tanker Pulpit Point arrived at Auckland on Tuesday morning from San Francisco with a cargo of bulk oil fuel. She will proceed later to Wellington and Melbourne to complete discharge. The Rimutaka left Wellington on Tuesday morning for Opua and Auckland to complete loading for'England. She is to leave Auckland on February 2 for Southampton and London. The Kia Ora, which arrived at London from New Zealand on January 4, is reported to have reached Liverpool on January 18. The Waiotapu left Los Angeles on January 3 for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney,, and is due at Auckland on January 28. The Hororata left Auckland on Tuesday morning for New York, Halifax, and Lond°The Hauraki, from British Columbia ports, was due at San Francisco on January 23 to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. She clears San Francisco to-morrow. The tanker O. A. Knudsen left San Luis on January 19 for Wellington. The vessel is bringing a cargo of oil fuel for discharge into the Union Company’s tanks at Miramar, and is due at Wellington on February 13. SUSSEX FROM CALCUTTA. The Sussex, from Calcutta, via northern ports, is due at Dunedin this morning to discharge a quantity of Eastern merchandise. She is expected to sail to-morrow tor Bluff to complete discharge. From the southern port the Sussex will proceed to Sydney, then Newcastle and Java. ARAWA FROM LIVERPOOL. The Arawa arrived at Auckland on Monday morning from Liverpool, via Panaona. Besides passengers and mail for New Zealand, the vessel brought merchandise from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. HUNTINGDON TO LOAD. The Huntingdon, which is now laid up at Phrt Chalmers, will load on the New Zealand coast next month for England. The vessel will commence taking in cargo at Bluff, and will return to Port Chalmers on February 15 to load wool and other products. She will sail finally from Wellington about February 25 for London, via Panama. THE MANCHESTER MERCHANT. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line’s chartered steamer Manchester Merchant arrived at Auckland on Monday from New York The vessel has case oil and general merchandise for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. MATATUA FROM LONDON. The Matatua, from London, via Panama and Suva, is due at Dunedin about February 9 to discharge a large quantity of Home cargo. The vessel will complete discharge at Timaru and Lyttelton. - . ATHBNIC FOR ENGLAND. The Athenlc Is now timed to leave Wellington at daybreak to-morrow for Southampton and London, via Panama. The Waikouaitl Is to sail to-morrow morning for Lyttelton and Timaru to complete discharge. SYDNEY PASSENGER STEAMERS. The Maungar.ui is timed to leave Sydney to-morrow afternoon for Wellington with passengers, mails, and cargo. She is due at the northern port next Tuesday morning. The Marama is to leave Sydney to-morrow afternoon for Auckland, where she is due on Tuesday morning. The Ulimaroa, which arrived at Auckland on Tuesday morning from Sydney, is timed to sail at 11 a.m. to-morrow on the return voyage. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. The big British motor ship Lochmonar went ashore north of Crosby Lightship, in the River Mersey, last month. Her hack was broken in two, and the after part was towed to Liverpool. She was bound from Vancouver to Liverpool and Rotterdam at the time of the grounding. Owned by the Royal Mail Steam Packet Meat Transports, Ltd,, the Lochmonar was built In 1924. The same company owns the Asturias and the Alcantara. The Lochmonar was built by the famous shipbuilding company of Harland and Wolff. MIN FROM NEW YORK. Under charter to the A. and A. Line, the Hain Shipping Company’s steamer Min arrived at Dunedin yesterday morning from New York, via Norfolk (Virginia), Panama, Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. The vessel was berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge a quantity of general cargo and case oil. The Min left New York on December 4, and called at Norfolk for bunkers. She arrived at Colon on December 12, and cleared the Panama canal on the morning of December 13. The steamer experienced fair weather for the whole of the voyage, and arrived at Auckland well up to time. The Min, which was built by John Reading and Co., of South Shields, in 1922, is registered as 4694 tons gross. Captain F. Cundy is in command of the Min, and associated with him are the following officers: —Chief, Mr E. J. Davies, second, Mr C. D. Leaner; third, Mr R. M. Spray ; chief engineer, Mr J. Lander; second Mr G. A. Nnncarrow; third, M* - F. S. Keadshaw; fourth, Mr A. J. Carney; wireless operator, Mr S. E. Monish; chief steward, Mr H.
