WARATAHS VISIT BATTLEFIELD. (Pres* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) PARIS, January 20. (Received Jan. 20, at 7 p.m.) The Waratahs visited the Somme battlefields and were tendered a reception by the French Association. Mr Shaw,- in replying, said that he hoped that the French approved of the Waratahs’ play on the field as they did of the Australian soldiers’ fighting during the war.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
