PRINCESS THEATRE

Fullers’ Follies have entered into the merry holiday spirit in this week’s effort at the Princess Theatre, and their performance has been made one of the best they have yet presented. Variety is the keynote of the production, which from start to finish is bubbling over with fun. Stud Foley is the leader in most of the merriment, but ho receives strong support from the remainder of the company. The revue is entitled “ A Balkan Tangle.” The efforts of Eddie and Decima M’Lean in ‘'The Whirl of the Underworld,” and Flora M’Donald and Dalton Payne in Scottish enlei mnniem have earned well-deserved appreciation.

An expedition was to leave London last month for 'the remote North-Eastern frontier of India to search for a nine poppy. The leader is Captain F. Kmgdon Ward, wiio has already made journeys through China and Tibet to obtain rare and hitherto unknown plants and flowers, “I am certainly going to mok for blue poppies," said Captain Kingdon W ard, ” hut blue poppies are not by any means unknown. There are plenty m England. I brought home some witn me from China two wears ago. I shall se.iirh for alpine plants of all kinds, and .hail be away for a year.”
