DEATH OF VALENTINE. THE CORONER’S FINDING. (Per United Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, December 24. At the inquest regarding the death of Arthur Valentine, who died suddenly at the Borstal Institute when awaiting a magisterial hearing of a charge of murder. Dr Crawford said that the deceased had manifested symptoms which resulted in witness recommending his early transfer to the Soacliff Mental Hospital for observation. His heart and kidneys were greatly enlarged. Death was caused by the progressive clotting of blood in the heart causing cardiac syncope. A verdict was returned accordingly.
