MR AMERY AT SUVA
INTRODUCED TO NOTABLES. FIJIAN WELCOME CEREMONIES. (Press Association—Bj Telegraph —Copyright ) SUVA, December 24. The Aoiangi arrived yesterday Iron Auckland. Mr L. S. Amery was received by the Acting Governor, the Chief Justice, and the Mayor, and was introduced to notables. There were the usual Fijian welcome ceremonies, and expressions of goodwill to the King were accoided. Mr Amery to-day meets the local bodies and attends a civic reception. He sails at noon for Vancouver.— A. and N.Z. Cable.
