SAMOA.
DEPORTATIONS ORDERED. MESSRS NELSON, GURR, AND SMYTH “ TO DEPART.” (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, December 23. The F’rime Minister’s office announced this afternoon that the Administrator of Western' Samoa, after taking the necessary steps required by the Samoa Ar endment Act, 1927, has been authorised by the Governor-General in Council to require Olaf Frederick Nelson, Edwin William Gurr, and Arthur George Smyth to depart from Western Samoa.
Nelson and Gurr are to remain absent for a period of five years, and Smyth for two years. The necessary orders, made by the Administrator, were served upon those named to-day.
