An international company has obtained a concession from the -Spanish Government to exploit th e treasure contained in the ships ' of the Plate Fleet, from America, which were sunk by a British fleet in Vigo Harbour in October 1702. Silver from the ships captured on that occasion was minted into coins in Fugland bearing the word Vigo under the bust of Queen Anne.
