BOWLING

new ZEALAND TOURNAMENT.

Complete arrangements are being made for the Now Zealand Bowling Tournament, which opens in Christchurch on Saturday, January 10, and concludes about January 20. It is anticipated that a large number of bowlers are coming from Otago and Southland, and, consequently, very careful arrangements for their stay and comfort are being made at the City Buffet, one of the leading Private Hotels in Christchurch, situated at the corner of Colombo and Lichfield streets. Southern bowlers visiting Christchurch for the Tournament are advised to make their reservations right away —by wire or letter. That they will heartily enjoy their stay at the City Buffet goes without saying, judging by the experience of all others who have stayed at this favourite hostelry. The City Buffet, which is almost in the heart of Christchurch, has cosy lounges and sitting rooms, hot and cold baths, and a liberal table. The tariff is 10s per day nr £3 weekly.—Advt.
