PRODUCE MERCHANT CHARGED

(Pan United Press Association.) WAIMATE, December 20. George Meredith, a produce merchant, of 25 years’ standing locally, was committed for trial by the Magistrate, Mr C. R. Orr Walker, on three charges of forrrery in connection with the alleged alteration of delivery order forms authorising him to obtain certain quantities of flour and pollard from the South Canterbury Flour Milling Company’s mill. Bail was allowed.
