TROTSKYITES EXPELLED. PRAISE FOR THE CHEKA. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) RIGA, December 19. The Communist Congress finally expelled Trotsky, Zinovieff, Rakovsky Kameneff, Radek, and 95 others. The Trotskyites are warned that they will be considered counter-revolutionaries. The congress ominously praised the Cheka (Ogpu), which will continue to clear out the enemies as formerly.—Sydney Sun Cable.

The terms of the congress of the Communist Party to Oppositionists were that th e applications for reinstatement should be accepted bv the Central Committee and the Central Control Commission, subject to their being made individually, 1 and that' admission be permitted in six months’ time, provided the applicants’ activities in the meantime conform to their own pledges and the party’s decisions. Trotsky presumably has not applied.— •A. and N.Z. Cable.
