DUNEDIN FIRE BOARD.

MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of th t . Dunedin Fire Board was held yesterday afternoon, and was attended by Messrs J. Wilson (chairman), W. A. Scott. J. S. Hislop, A. Burn, J. L. Salmon, and F. T. Anderson. Superintendent A. G. Napier, in his monthly report, slated that 29 calls had been answered by the brigade during the past month, of which 12 calls were to actual fires on property. The other calls accounted for six chimney fires threo bush fires, five malicious false alarms, one justifiable false alarm, one automatic fa!s e alarm, and one accidental alarm. Of the malicious-alarms-given, three were received by street alarm boxes, and two by telephone. The fire stations were all in good order. The motor appliances, the fire alarms, and the general equipment of the brigade were in good rder.
