SOUTH AFRICAN TRAGEDY
WHOLE FAMILY WIPED OUT. FOOTBALLERS’ TERRIBLE DEED. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Oopy right.) CAPETOWN, October 6. A tragedy is reported from Swaziland, where Morris, a popular footballer and cricketer, shot his wife and four children while they were asleep, then shot himself. All are dead. Morris suffered from serious head injuries while playing football several years ago. He left a letter stating that he was a failure, and had decided to end things.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
