JEWELLERY.
Leather jewellery is a novelty. There are bands which seem to be nothing bettor than glorified dog collars. They are even hung with small gold bells. Beautifully tooled leather, sometimes painted, at others untinted, is another inspiration of this curious vogue. Some bracelets are made with waistbclts to match. Gold jewellery as thin as wire is the smartest thing for evening wear. A couple of dozen thin gold bangles and a twisted gold chain round the nock are all that is required. Gold sports jewellery is a more substantial variation of the evening vogue, as well as bracelets whirn are actually gold horseshoes threaded with fine gold wires. Gold links have supplanted those of semi-precious stones. In place of a buttonhole, there is a smart fad for wearing a little round vanity case of enamel set with diamante. It is suspended by means of a silver tassel, which threads through a convenient slot. It is particular!, effective on taillcurs.
