MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
Tuesday, August 30. (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.) DEFAULT CASES. ; Judgment was given for plaintiffs in the following undefended cases: —A. Goodley and Son v. Ernest Graham (Wyllie’s Crossing), £9 17s lOd, for money lent, with interest and costs (£1 13s 6d); A E. Ussherwood v. D. Alison (Reefton), £l2 7s for goods, and costs (£2 14s); C. B. Sanders v. Vernon Branks (Riverton), £6 5s ror board and lodging, and costs (£1 10s 6dT; H. J. Millar Ltd. v. S. Gillespie (Oulverden), £6 for materials and labour, and costs (£1 10s 6d); D.1.C., Ltd. v. F. M'Dohald (Waipiata), £lO 7s Id, on an account stated and costs (£3 2s). JUDGMENT SUMMONS. Tahakopa Sawmilling Company v. Rae Miller (Burnside), £ls 16s lid, on a judgment summons.—An order was made that the claim be paid forthwith, together with costs (£1 4s), in default 12 days’ imprisonment.
