Landers from his store at Rongotca a burglar prised open the back door and gained admittance to the front of the shop, robbing the safe of a considerable sum of money, which included number of cheques. WELLINGTON, August 29. Reformative detention for a term not exceeding two years waia imposed by Mr Salmon, S.M., on William Roberts, alias Robertson, aged 47, a butcher, who pleaded guilty to obtaining goods and ' -oney of a total value of £25 by means oi valueless cheques at Hunterville and other places between there and Wellington.
