MEETING IN TRAFALGAR SQUARE. AMERICAN FLAG TORN UP. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, August 28. Ten thousand orderly Communist and Labour demonstrators, grouped round crape draped banners assembled in Trafalgar square as a protest against the Sacco-Vanzetti executions. A man mounted tho plinth of the monument and unrolled an American flag, and was about to pour petrol on it preparatory to setting it on fire, when officials of the International Class War Prisoners' Aid Society remonstrated. He climbed down, but afterwards the flag was torn to shreds by bystanders. Mr A. J. Cook (miners’ secretary) seconded a resolution viewing the executions with horror. He also urged his hearers to turn indignantly against Mr Baldwin. —A. and N.Z. and Sydney Sun Cable. OUTRAGE IN SOUTHERN FRAIsCE. BOMB NEAR DANCE HALL. TWO PEOPLE KILLED. LONDON, August 28.
