A GLASGOW REVEL
STREET'S FLOW WITH WHISKY. FREE DRINKS ALL ROUND. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, April 13. There were extraordinary scenes in Stockwell street, Glasgow, when a tram collided with a distiller’s lorry, bursting five barrels of whisky. The contents streamed on to the roadway. Sores of men and women rushed to fill bottles and cans, while others, kneeling, lapped up the whisky, and many soaked and sucked caps and handkerchiefs.—Argus and Sydney Sun Cable.
