With a bright fire and a copious supply of good reading, we may let the cold winds go by without being troubled by them. There is one organisation that gives a maximum of reading of the newest hooks at a moderate cost. That is Whitcombes New Book Club. For 42s a vear, city members may obtain two books at a time; country members four at a time. For 52s a year city members may get three hooks at a time; country members six. The half-yearly subscriptions are 22s 6d and 30s respectively. Members may change their books as often as they wish. And they are new, clean books. What could be better or cheaper?
