HUGE FACTORY FIRE Hope Gibbons (Ltd.) have received cabled advice that the recent fire in the Douglas Works, which destroyed 4000 Motor Cycles, will have no effect upon New Zealand deliveries. The Factory will reach normal output again in a fortnight. During the War the Douglas Factory was in the hands of the War Office, and its entire output taken for the Allied Annies. It was then essential that the organisation should be duplicated within itself- The quick recovery from the recent fire reflects the high efficiency resulting frem . _ -A,lrk.
