OCEAN BEACH IMPROVEMENT.
TO THE EDITOR.
Sie,—At the annual meeting of the Amenities Society, the Hon. G. M. Thomson said that he was in favour of the society taking up the much-needed improvement of our Ocean Beach and proposed an esplanade from St. Clair to St. Kilda right along the beach. I am glad to see that my efforts in writing on this matter have borne some fruit. I can only hope that the matter will be kept forward and eventually become an accomplished {act, 1 for everyone must admit that an esplanade would be an everlasting credit to our city and a benefit to all. Let more of us get together and do our best to help tho Amenities Society in its good work.—lt has already accomplished much. 1 am, etc.. Airmen Pimirnt. St. Kilda, April 13.
