The American steamer West Nivaria sailed late yesterday afternoon for Melbourne, where the remainder of her Pacific Coast cargo will be discharged. The Katoa is due at Dunedin this evening from "Port Craig to load general cargo. She will sail to-morrow for. Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Wingatui is due hero oh Sunday from Auckland, via ports, to discharge and load general cargo. She will sail about Tuesday for Oamaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Waipiata is to leave Auckland to-day with general cargo for discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin. Tho Opihi was expected to leave Westport on Wednesday night with a cargo of coal for discharge at Blufi and Dunedin. She is due hero on Tuesday, and after discharge will load genera! freight for Nelson, New Plymouth, and Westport. The Calm is due hero to-morrow morning from Bluff to load general cargo. She is timed to sail to-morrow evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and ‘Wanganui. The Breeze is due at Dunedin on Sunday from Lyttelton and is timed to sail on Monday evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington. Picton, and Wanganui. The Gale _ has been fixed to load at Dunedin early next week for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The, Progress is due at this port on March 11 from Wellington to load for New -Plyouth and Port Waikato. The Pakoha is to leave Auckland on March 10 for Wellington, where she will complete loading for London. Laden wtih a full cargo of sulphur from Galveston, Texas, ths steamer Anglo Egyptain arrived at New Plymouth on Sunday last. From the Taranaki port tho steamer will proceed to Australia. The Kawatiri was duo at Suva on Wednesday from Sydney, and leaves the Island port to-morrow for Auckland, where she is due on March 10. The Maunganui, from San Francisco, is due at Papeete on March 5, Rarotonga on ' March 8, and Wellington on March 14 <rHORORATA FROM LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Hororata, now at Lyttelton, will sail early next week for Timaru and Port Chalmers to continue discharging London cargo. She is duo at «his port about March 10, and will proceed later to New Plymouth to complete discharge. RARANGA LEAVES LONDON. News has been received by the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company that the Raranga sailed from London last Saturday morning with general cargo to unload at Auckland. Dunedin, Bluff, and Nelson. She is due at Auckland on April 5. THE PORT CAROLINE. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Caroline, which left London on January 13,. is dim at Auckland to-morrow. The vessel's cargo will be discharged at Auckland, Wellington, Napier, and New Plymouth. The Port Caroline will afterwards load at New Zealand ports, and will sail finally from tho iw. min ion about April 15 for London.

PORT DENISON LEAVES LIVERPOOL. Advice received by Messrs J. W. Swift and I and Co. states that the C. and D. Line steamer Port Denison left Liverpool on February 26 with general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The vessel is due at Auckland about April 8, and at Dunedin about April 22. WEST HENSHAW FROM AMERICA. The American steamer West Henshaw, from Lob Angeles, is due at Auckland on or about March 10. Tho vessel will discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, and New Plymouth. CARGO FROM LONDON. The local agents for the C. and D. Line advisa that the Port Curtis is scheduled to leave London on March 16 with cargo for discharge at Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Timaru. She is due at Lyttelton about April 27, and at this port about April 30. The Port Melbourne is scheduled to leave London on April 6 with cargo for discharge at Auckland and Port Chalmers. TREMEADOW AT AUCKLAND. The A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer Tremeadow arrived at Auckland on Tuesday evening from New York, via Panama, with case ou and general cargo. Her other ports of discharge are Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, Wanganui, and Sydney. The Tremeadow is duo at this port about March 15. THE CALCUTTA STEAMER. Tho Union Company advises that tho Sussex, is due at Calcutta on March 12 from Fremantle. The vessel has been fixed to load at Calcutta, Singapore, and Samarang for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is to leave Calcutta early iu April. CLAN OGILVY TO LOAD. The steamer Clan Ogilvy is expected at Port Chalmers about March 23 from Wellington to load a large quantity of wool and other products for the United Kingdom and Continent. . Ths vessel, which is coming to tho agency of Messrs H. L. Taploy and Co. will sail finally from this port about March 25 for Dunkirk, via Cape Horn. o ■ - RUAPEHU FROM ENGLAND. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Ruapehu, from Southampton, bound for Wellington, is expected to reach her destination on March 15 to land passengers. Her ports of discharge are Pott Chalmers, Lyttelton, and New Plymouth. The vessel is due at Port Chalmers ou March 16. CARGO FROM NEW YORK. The steamer Shcafmount, under charter to tho C. and D. Line, is due at Auckland on March 12 from New Y'ork. She later diecharges at Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Sydney, and Newcastle. The Shcafmount is due at Dunedin about March 18. KIA, ORA FROM ENGLAND. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company advises that the Kia Ora is due at Acckland on March 10 from West of England ports. She will discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. MATAEOA TO LEAVE LONDON. It is 'announced by the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company that their next despatch from London for New Zealand will be the Mataroa, which is to sail on March 25 with passengers and cargo for Auckland and Wellington. The vessel is due at Auckland on April 30. THE CITY OP KIMBERLEY. The A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer City of Kimberley, which has replaced the City of Yokohama, was despatched .from New York ou February 17 with case oil and general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. She is due at Auckland about March 21. CARGO FROM CANADIAN PORTS. The New Zealand Shipping Company reports that the Queen Eleanor is to sail from St. John on March 25 with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. The steamer Puriri, from St. John and Sydney (Cape Breton) via Panama, is due at Auckland about March 7. Her Canadian cargo will be discharged at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, New Plymouth, Melbourne, and Sydney. The Puriri is duo at this port about March 20. NORTHUMBERLAND’S CARGO. In order to cover the cost of the salvage work at the Federal Line steamer Northumberland, a general average of 25 per cent, on tho cargo has been declared. The general average concerns only consignees at southern ports, as all her cargo for Auckland had been unloaded before the accident. FROM WEST OF L.,GLAND POETS. The steamer Cambridge, which left Lyttelton on Tuesday for London, is carrying one of the most valuable shipments of produce from the Dominion ever exported. In shipping circles in Lyttelton the value is believed to be a record for tho Dominion. The vessel belongs to the Federal Line, but is under charter to the New Zealand Shipping Company (Ltd.). She carries a full load of wool, lamb, mutton, butter, and cheese. The Port Napier, which was despatched from Lyttelton on Friday last for London, was a full ship, and the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company’s Mahana, which was to Leave Lyttelton yesterday for London, will also carry a considerable amount of cargo. The value of the combined cargo of the three vessels will reach JE2,000,000. The Port Napier’s cargo consisted of 108,962 carcases of lamb, 50,376 carcases of sheep, 14,626 bales of wool, 4027 boxes of butter, and a largo quantity of sundries. FOR NORTHERN POETS.
