The following team will represent Milton Club In the llonours Board match against Bcnhar on the latter’s green on Saturday: —Currie, Gregory, Devannoy, Cuff; M’Corinaek, Riddel, Clark, Bedford, Adamson, Morouey, M'Leod, Clayton; Morns, Smith, Steclhman, Wethey. CRICKET. Both the Milton teams will be engaged in third-round matches on Saturday afternoon. The A team will play the Lovells Flat on the Milton ground, and the B team will journey to Milburn. This concludes the northern division fixtures, with the exception of the match between the B team and Lovells Flat on the following Saturday. The teams are as follow Milton A.—Wilson (2). Oliver (2), Turnbull (2), Long, Heads, Marryatt, Menzies, Murray; emergency, Vidal. Milton B. —M'Laren, Hood, Smith, Arno't, Wilkinson, Clery. Currie, Devannev (2), Ashton, Hawke; emergency, Sayers. TENNIS. The finals of a handicap combined tournament. will be played on the local courts on Saturday afternoon, for a trophy presented by 'Mr James Clark, the games being 41 point? up. GENERAL. The "sheep drive” organised by the Milton branch of the Fanners’ Union in. aid of the Kaitangata relief fund resulted in a truck containing 40 live sheep being despatched to Kaitangata last Monday morning. These were taken charge of by Mr Charles Pennell, butcher, on behalf of the Vigilance Committee, for grazing purposes until required. Several cases of fruit, and a bag of potatoes were also forwarded. A partv of four Milton sportsmen (Messrs Geo. Watson. D. Burnett. W A. Fox, and W M’Leod) renort a highly successful three davs’ shooting excursion last weekend in the Blue Mountains. ihe paity were accompanied by a guide on their expedition, and the ‘‘bag” comprised four wild pigs and eight deer. amongst the latter wore two splendid bead. —a 20-pointer and a 14-pomtor.
