KAIKORAI BAND CONCERTS.

The Kaikorai Band will hold the lagt of its_ Sunday evening concerts at tIM Botanic Gardens to-morrow evening, when a progr.v.mne consisting of popular iteoM will bo submitted. and a most enjoyabl* time is assured. As the band is noted fof its willingness to assist when a call for charity is made, ns well ns on all publia occasions, the public is requested to show its appreciation of its services by cow tributing generously on this, the last ow casion thta will occur before the band proceeds to Wellington 10 take part in the Dominion band contest. On Wednesday next, at His Theatre, the band will hold a concert. Tha programme arranged is one that should appeal to lovers of music. The full band,/ which now numbers among its member* Mr Bud Wills, the well-known cornet player, will render the test march “Wairarapa,” the two test seletcions, “Gounod* and Lortzinp,” while Bandsmen I, Coughlan and C. T. Morgan will play their test cornet solos, “Silver Threads "Among the Gold 7 ’ and “Darewell. - ''' Another attract tractive item will be Bandsman E. Andrews’s xylophone solo. The vocal items will bo provided by Miss Winnie MTcak and Mr Arthur j. Lungley, and as both singers are well and favourably known, their items will undoubtedly afford enjoyment.
