READING FOR RELAXATION.
If you arc worried, nervous, irritable, nr unable to sleep, and you lake your troubles to your old family doctor, ho will proscribe one thing—in one word — relax. You will retort, hysterically, that, yon simply cannot —you have tried and tried —and now something must he (lone - you can't, go on like this any longer. [‘orhaps the reason yon have been unable to relax is because you have a mistaken idea of the word. Relaxation means forgetfulness. Forget that, yon have worries, that yon have nerves, that you have a body—that, you have a family and friends, if need be; put your mind completely oft yourself and on something else. This can be accomplished easily and pleasantly in various ways; by attending a concert or a play: by seeing a thrilling motion picture; often by taking a brisk tramp in the emmtrv. But when these channels are not available, relaxation can always lie found hidden j«'ir within the rovers of an interesting l>ook—and \*ry near the front cove*, boo.
