MOTOR TRAFFIC ON CHRISTMAS EVE.
TO THE EDITOR. Sib,—ls there any chance of the council prohibiting motor drivers from using Princes and George streets on Christmas Eve? As you are aware, hundreds of mothers take their children to town on that night to see the sights, and the motor cars simply spoil _ the evening for them The tram traffic is quite enough for the mothers to look out for, but when a number of selfish motor car drivers are just running up and down the two streets at a good pace everything is spoilt.—l am. etc.. ’ Safety.
