BUS LICENSE.
APPEAL AGAINST GRANTING TRANSPORT BOARD’S DECISION, (Special to Daili Times.) WELLINGTON, December 20, To hear the appeal of the Hutt Valley bus proprietors against the license granted to Harold Ingham to run another service on the Hutt road the Transport Appeal Board sat to-day. Mr Justice Frazer presided. The board, after hearing evidence, gave its decision to the effect that it was of the opinion that the existing and the proposed facilities for the transport of passengers between Lower Hutt, Petone, and Wellington were sufficient for the requirements of the public, and it allowed the appeal. Ingham’s appeal against any increase of the existing licenses to the present holders is to stand over sine die.
