PURDY’S WITHDRAWAL. OBJECTION TO REFEREE. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, December 18. I will fight Trowern anywhere and at any time under a referee other than Mr Watchhorn.” Asked regarding his future intentions, Pun]v said that he was taking a spell until February. ‘There were a lot of people who (bought 1 got a raw deal at Wanganui against Trowern.” said Purdy. “I do not want to make a song about that, but I am lint afraid of Trowern. and ho can have it wherever and whenever he likes.”
