EXPLOSION IN COAL MINE
AN INDIANA DISASTER. TWENTY DEATHS FEARED, (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, December 9. An explosion occurred in a coal mine in East Princetown, Indiana, this morning. The rescuers predict the possibility of fatalities exceeding twenty. The dead bodies are being left until the wounded are removed. Only half of the seventy who were in the shaft at the time of the explosion had been brought to the surface by noon. Seven men are known to have been killed.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
