BUILDING SOLD FOR REMOVAL. (Proas Association—By Telegraph—Copytight.) SYDNEY, December 9. The historic Scots Church has been stripped of all "-he fittings and sold _for £3l, and the adjoining manse for £25. The final services in the historic Scots Church, on Church Hlil, -which is being demolished to make way for the city railway, were held on November 28. The church was founded by Dr John Dunmore Lang, and the first service was held in July, 1826. . Amongst the prominent Presbyterians from far and near was a daughter of Dr Lang and representatives of the other four ministers who, during the century, served the church. While the service was in progress the University Scouts’ Regimental Band assembled outside and played the “Colin Campbell Lament.”
