WANGANUI, December 9. ‘ '1 he weather wins la vonrablc for training operations on the Wanganui tracks this morning, and the course was m splendid order. No. 1 grass tracks was open for fast, work, of which there was not a grout deal done, but what galloping there was was of an interesting nature. Ridden by a light boy El.vsianor was galloped half a mile, and was not pushed, to return in 51 the first two taking 24 3-5,-iCC. The Elysian irelding is to race at Awapano durin gtho holidays. The Auckland Cup candidate ..-task, ridden by a light-weight, went a mile by himself and gave an impressive display. The result of their effort was a brilliant gallop They reeled off the first couple of furlongs in 23 4-ssec, three furlongs in 35 3-sseo, half a mile in 47 l-ssec, and six in Imin 15 l-ssec, with Civility passing tho post well clear of her companion. Diamond Ring, who appears to liavo made a big improvement of late, was associated with Hnlgina in a bout over sixbirlongs, and without being pushed she was clear of him at tho end in Imin 18 4-ssec, the first half-mile being covered in 50 l-ssec. After breakfast Allowny, a Podding winner, was worked over six furlongs the reverso way, and striding out nicely under a steady rein all the journey, did the first two in 26 4-ssec, the half-mdo in 52 2-550 C, and iix furlongs in Imin 13 4-sseo,
