COMBINED BANDS’ CARNIVAL.
At the Kensington Drill Hall to-mor-row night, Miss Thelma M'Millan. assisted by Miss Marie Osten, will perform the ceremony of crowning the carnival queen (Miss Nancy Blaney). The bands will render a programme of music during the evening. The Dunedin Fite Brigade will head a procession of the several queens and the four bands from the Octagon at 730 The ceremony will be under the direction of Mr T. N. De Spong.
