The badger, frequently the victim o£ wanton destruction, is now being bred for commercial purposes by three Donegal farmers. According to the head of th< project, the animals, if captured young, are easily looked after, and when they reach maturity are valuable, the hair being used for the best kind of shaving brush and the fur for women’s wearing apparel. The farmer claims that the project is the first of its kind.
