OTAGO MOTOR CLUB’S SCHEME. The Finance Committee o{ the Taioii I County Council met the president of the j Otago Motor club (Mr A. E. Ansell) last week l and discussed the better roads scheme, which has already been published. At yesterday's meeting of the council the chairman (Cr J. W. Bluirt outlined what had taken place at the conference so far a? Taicri County was concerned. The amount apportioned to the Taieri County was £B2OO, This would provide for re-construc-tion and tar-sealing.
