FIRESIDE TRAGEDY
WIFE BURNED TO DEATH. LONDON. November 2. Mrs Sarah Watson, aged 71, of York, was devotedly shaving her crippled Imshand in his chair before the fire, when her skirt became alight as she reached for <Tie razor on the mantelpiece. Mr Watson could only look on helplessly Hi~, wife rushed, screaming, into the garden, and before neighbours could extinguish the flames she was so badly burned that she died in a few minutes.
