REDISTRIBUTION OF SEATS. MELBOURNE SUBURBS BENEFIT. (Free* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) MELBOURNE, November 12. The report of the commission appointed to redistribute the seats in the Victorian Assembly provides for an increase of five metropolitan scats and a corresponding decrease in the country constituencies, giving the city 26 seats, and the country 39. It is understood that all the new seats are given to the suburbs south of the Yarra, which have grown enormously in recent years.
