M’Donald (chairman of the British Columbia division of the Canadian Manufacturers’ Association), in a long newspaper article, appeals to Canadians to stop quibbling over the Canadian-Aus-tralian treaty, to sink their political differences, and instead to press the Imperial Conference no longer to delay a full measure of preference between the Motherland and the dominions.—A. and N.Z.
