MARRIAGE AND DEATH.
A WIFE FOR A MINUTE. A death bed marriage was recently solemnised in a little Swiss village celow the Rhone glacier. The bridegroom, Hans Fluckiger, died one minute after he had signed the register. uc was a youth very fond of mountain climbing. Near the summit of the Grimsel Fass he had fallen, and was seriously injured. In hospital he was told that be had not long to live. . The dying man sent for a priest and his fiancee, and was kept alive by stimulants till their arrival. Ido was so weak after the brief ceremony that his hood had to be guided while he signed the register. He then kissed his bride and smiled and fell back dead.
