ENGLISH FUTURISTS.

The “English Futurists” will commence a six nights’ season in His Majesty’s Theatre on Monday night. Such well-Known entertainers as G. W. Desmond and Cyril Northoote, of Syd. James Royal Strollers fame, besides many other well-known favourites of the “Diggers” included in the oast. Dunedin theatre-goers may go prepared for a feast of amusement, as the entertainment sparkles with humour and continuously has the house convulsed in wholesome mirth. The singing and dancing are of a very high standard. The programme is well varied, including numerous breezy sketches, bright playettos, and catchy vocal numbers while the costuming and scenery are in keeping with the items. For a compact company of 11 people the “English Futurists” provide excellent entertainment and those who see the show on Monday evening can understand the success achieved in a tour which has extended to 19 countries. Not a moment is wasted. The Wanganui Chronicle says: “It was the brightest show in years, and although comparisons should be avoided, it is safe to say the “Futurists” have nothing to lose by being compared with such outstanding companies, ns those brought to Now Zealand some time airo. by Mr Jack Waller, Mr Syd.
