PHILIPPINE MOROS
CLASH WITH CONSTABULARY. {Press Association—By Xe'ograph—Copyright.) MANILA, May 28. (Received May 30, at 5.5 p.m.) Twenty-three Moros and one member of the constabulary were killed and eight o! the constabulary were wounded in an attack on a Moro fort.—Reuter. The recent cable message announced that the constabulary was waging a hard fight against the brown-skinned Moro tribesmen, who are the bush-dwellers of the Philippine Islands. The United States in past years has bean forced to wage almost continuous warfare on the warlike natives.
