May 28, The Council of the New Zealand Rugby League, after vigorous objection, signea an agreement for the use of Carla \v Paiß in trial matches, the licensee being held responsible Tor any damage done to the ground. Mr Pollock stated that communications from Canada indicated the possibility _ o' the New Zealand team playing exhibition games there, when returning from England. Matches might he arranged with a Rughv team.
