DUNEDIN TO INVERCARGILL. (Fbom Oub Own Cobhespondekt.S INVERCARGILL, May 27. One of the two rail motors which are to be utilised on the branch lines on the Southland section of the railways arrived in Invercargill this afternoon -from Dunedin after an uneventful trip through. The motor which left Dunedin at 8.35 a.m., made good progress and travelled at a reasonable rate of speed all the way. Invercargill was reached at 3.10 p.m. . The vehicle will undergo a trial over the Glenham branch to-morrow, and if satisfactory will take up the service within the next few day=.
