PRINCESS THEATRE.

One attractive feature of all revues presented by Phil Smith and the versatile company under his command that is delighting Princess Theatre patrons at present is that there is a distinctive plot of considerable worth underlying all the fun and melody. The show this week is a particularly good one, and each evening it has been thoroughly enjoyed by all present from the initial rise to the final fall of the curtain in the second half of the programme. Phil Smith is personally responsible for most of the hilarity, and Nat Hanley is a good second, his work on the piano being greeted very enthusiastically. Some of the musical numbers are worthy of the attention of all. “Granny’s Song at Twilight,” “All Through a Beautiful Girl.’” and “Wild Thyme” are three of an excellent repertoire. The ballet is responsible for excellent ensemble work, the dancing being a special feature of the revue. The vaudeville section of the programme is a strong one, and again last evening each act was warmly received by the large audience present.
