BOXING.
DUNEDIN COMBINED SPORTS CLUB. The Dunedin Combined Sports Club held its opening tournament of the 1926 season on Saturday night in Mr Les Murray s rooms in the presence of a large number of members. A first-class programme was provided, 10 bouts, each three rounds of three minutes. Some good boxing was ■witnessed, several Otago University champions competing. The programme was as follows: — Bantam-weights—R. Leckie v. J. M‘Ale—D. Ferguson v. J. Cullen.' Light-weights.—L. Cotter v. J. Leckie. Light-heavy-weights.—J. Batchelor v. A. Leckie Middle-weights.—J. D. Leckie v. G. Mathewson Novice bantam. —H. Choo Quee v. W. Davis. Novice feather. —W. Leary v. D. Coutts. Novice Light:—D. iPaterson v. J. Crighlon. Novice welter.—B. Davis v. D. Bell. Novice light-heavy.—H. Sayers v. H. Fletcher.
