Christmas cards, carrying seasonable greetings embossed in Braille type, were obtainable in England last Christmas, for sending to blind people. A map covering 2750 square feet of canvas has been unve’led in Rome. It is said to be the largest in the world. Only 1862 men are employed on tho telephones of London, while there are 7051 girl switchboard operators.
