WORLD TOUR IN LINER
SUCCESS OF CUNARD TRIP. NEW YORK. March*3o. The 20,000-ton Ounard liner Carinthia has returned to New York after a five months’ world tour, which was so successful that the controlling company will repeat it, commencing next October. An elaborately-illustrated booklet describing the tour refers to Australia as “one of the most engrossing regions in the world—enthralling and exotic.” Australian plains are termed “suave downs,” Sydney streets are described as “impressive,” while the Yarra is “delightful.”
